Canina® PROTEIN INSECT Powder has been gently dried and finely ground. It is rich in high-quality protein and healthy fatty acids. Allergies or intolerances to insect protein are not known, therefore Canina® ­PROTEIN INSECT is also 100% suitable for feed allergy sufferers. The biological value of insect protein is almost the same as that of meat protein, so Canina® PROTEIN INSECT is a valuable source of protein regardless of the feed. The production of insect protein consumes significantly less energy than the processing of other animal proteins, which contributes to climate protection.

Canina® PROTEIN INSECT provides natural minerals and vitamins in addition to the amino acids that are important for the metabolism, especially during periods of high physical and mental stress. The chitin from insect larvae is a fibre for the intestine and can have a positive effect on digestion. The slightly nutty note of the product is suitable as an “appetiser” for taste-sensitive dogs, so that they happily take their ration and therefore improve their muscles.

Rosemary extract 10 g.

Feeding recommendation per animal and day:
5 g per 10 kg body weight, maximum 25 g per day. Canina® PROTEIN ­INSECT can be added to any type of feed for 4 weeks. When dry feed is given, the powder must be mixed with a little warm water in the feed bowl and then given to the dog mixed with the dry feed. Canina® ­PROTEIN INSECT is fed during periods of physical exercise and in convalescence as a “topping” to stimulate the appetite or as a healthy alternative between meals. The product is suitable for allergy sufferers and can be fed to dogs of all ages.
