TAURINE is a sulfur-based amino acid found in all animal body cells. Cats cannot produce taurine themselves. Taurine is essential (vital) for them and must therefore be supplied with the feed.

Canina® Taurine for cats is:

• metabolism-promoting
• strengthens the immune system
• supports the vision
• supports the heart function
• improves the skin and coat

In the case of a taurine deficiency, the following symptoms are reported:

• Degeneration of the retina, blindness
• Reproductive disorders in cats
• Growth depression in kittens
• Neurological disorders in kittens
• Spine deformations in kittens
• Weakening of the body's immune system
• Negative effect on the flow properties of the blood

Composition: Yeast

Ingredients: Crude protein 83.8%, crude fibre 6.6%, crude fat 1.6%, crude ash 2.5%

Additives per kg:
Nutritional additives: Taurine 700 g

Feeding recommendation per animal and day:
Adult cats up to 6 kg: ½ teaspoon
Adult cats over 6 kg: 1 teaspoon
Kittens, young cats, pregnant and lactating cats:
1 teaspoon
(1 teaspoon = approx. 5 g)

Give the taurine powder mixed with the daily feed.

Dry feed must be moistened. The taurine powder is well tolerated as the mix is optimised for cats and they are happy to take it.

Regardless of whether wet feed, dry feed or feed consisting of raw meat: The daily addition of taurine is advisable. Overdosing is not possible; any excess is excreted.
