Feed material
Canina® COD LIVER OIL is a valuable source of vitamins and rich in unsaturated fatty acids (EPA, DHA, linolenic acid), which dogs and cats cannot produce themselves.
Its natural vitamin A and vitamin D3 content can help fill nutritional gaps in home-cooked meals and thus enhance the nutritional value of the diet.
Vitamin A is important for eyesight and the mucous membranes, whilst vitamin D3 aids the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the gut, thereby supporting bone development. When used daily in rotation with Canina® BARFER‘S OIL, it helps prevent potential deficiency symptoms in home-cooked meals (vitamins A, E and D3).
Contents: 250ml / 500ml
Feeding recommendation per animal and day:
Dogs: Administer 2 ml per 10 kg of body weight (max. 10 ml) mixed with the feed
Cats: Administer 1 ml with the feed; give a smaller amount to kittens
Canina® COD LIVER OIL should be given 2–3 times a week. On the other days, please use one of our other feed oils as a supplement.
