Complementary feed for dogs & cats
Canina® FIBRE MIX contains plant-based fibre sources from apples, alfalfa, peas and carrots that enhance raw foot diets on a daily basis. Fibres are important for a stable intestinal flora; as prebiotics, they serve as food for the large intestine bacteria. The plant components provide hemicellulose, cellulose, lignin and natural minerals such as magnesium and potassium.
Canina® FIBRE MIX can be added to any type of feed. Even raw feed diets and home-cooked meals often lack the fibre that stimulates the natural bowel movement and makes the faeces more voluminous. These fibres can have a positive effect on peristalsis, faeces and the emptying of the anal glands.
MOS = Mannan oligosaccharides and beta-glucans from yeast cell walls (GM3 complex) strengthen the intestinal immune system: Beta-glucans serve as an energy source for the large intestine bacteria and are converted by them into short-chain fatty acids, which in turn serve as a nutrient for the intestinal wall cells.
The acceptance of Canina® FIBRE MIX is very good as it has a slightly sweet smell and taste of apples. Rapeseed oil and linseed cake provide omega fatty acids, which are essential for a healthy metabolism.
The individual components in Canina® FIBRE MIX interact perfectly and increase the supporting effect on the intestines in its entirety.
Canina® FIBRE MIX is grain and gluten-free and contains no animal proteins. This is why it is suitable for most feed allergy sufferers.
Feeding recommendation per animal and day:
Canina® FIBRE MIX can be added to the feed of puppies/kittens through to senior age. It is suitable for any type of feed (dry, wet feed or homemade meals, cooked or raw).
The product is also suitable for pregnant/lactating dogs/cats.
Mix the powder with a little warm water in the feed bowl and then mix with the normal feed.
Dog: 0.3 g/kg body weight, maximum 15 g.
Cat: 0.3 g/kg body weight, maximum 4 g.
Always provide sufficient fresh drinking water.
