EQUOLYT^® BIO-SEAWEED MEAL is obtained from fresh seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum - from controlled organic cultivation). Due to the high proportion of naturally contained minerals, amino acids and trace elements, this high-quality natural product balances unbalanced nutrition and supports skin metabolism and the pigmentation of coat and horn quality thanks to its iodine, zinc and carotenoid content.

The amino acid lysine contained in EQUOLYT^® BIO-SEAWEED MEAL optimises feed conversion and muscle function; cellulose and mannitol support digestion. The immune system is strengthened by the high vitamin content (e.g. vitamin C). Condition, willingness to perform and well-being are promoted.

Feeding recommendation per animal and day:

Depending on the size of the horse, administer 1 to 1.5 teaspoons with the feed. The dosage can be increased to a maximum of 2 teaspoons per day for pregnant and lactating mares, during periods of high physical exertion or in the growth phase.

1 teaspoon = approx. 5 g, contains approx. 2 mg iodine.

1000 g seaweed meal contains approx. 500 mg iodine.

The specified dosage is doubled for pregnant and lactating mares.
